Organic Cornflower – Blue Boy (Centaurea cyanus)

A stunning indigo blue ideal for cut flowers.

Cornflowers make an excellent border plant too adding height and colour, are a favourite of pollinators and can even be added to a herbal tea.

Sow indoors March to May or direct sow in August to October for flowering the following summer. Keep seedlings moist; germination should take around 14-21 days. Transplant to final border once 6-8cm tall. Deadhead flowers to encourage summer long blooms.
